Even without mangekyou or jutsu to copy from other people, being able to predict/copy movements and essentially be clairvoyant has a huge benefit for your ability to charm and influence people.
And besides, sharingan eyes look cool as fuck.
For every reason you have here, the Haki can do it. And even better. :]
Haki isnt a physical thing you can see either. Its perfect!
