They have been building up (subtly, but not so subtle that you wouldn't notice it) the fact that luffy will die at the end.

ex: The various *gears* causing him to burn life force, the treatment he got from the okama land which burned a chunk of his life off, etc.


Again about Coby, read the above. I don't think any amount of strength will cause Coby to be the one to catch Luffy. But like I said, I had originally penned him as the one.

If coby is the one to catch him, then just reverse what I posted - Smoker for Head Admiral.

who will be whitebeard? shiki? I think coby=garb and his buddy = sengoku. I think shiki is the captain of that submarine (the one that has a white kungfu bear)
Another topic I'd like to bring up is, which one of the 4 emperors will luffy and that doctor dude be taking down? I think it'll be shanks.

Smoker too important not to be included. You have to really pay attn to his character, personality and stuff.

They prolly agreed to bring down Big Mom. It seems obvious and it should - I don't think Luffy would agree to take down Shanks. Kaidou is still unheard of it. Dark horse candidate though.


Assuming there is still a pirate era (like the current system) after the end of one piece, the next whitebeard would probably be Buggy the Clown honestly.

The reason why I think it's shanks they'll be taken down because when the doctor dude told luffy which emperor theyll be taking down, luffy smiled with a very happy face expression. This could be shanks because luffy would like to see him and show him how much powerful he is now.
I know for sure coby=garb and his buddy = sengoku. It's a perfect match.
As for smoker, he COULD be garb, but then who will be sengoku...? dont forget his assistance (the girl with glasses and a sword).
