and I am really getting sick of seeing Shigurui on these lists...

all the gore and badass drawings did little to fill all the holes in that show, only made the list because it's some eye candy..

something like Gankutsuou has just as much eye sex, and a good story to go with it.

tits and gore is why Shigurui is on that list, people just put it on there to look cool... we all know how important it is to look cool on some anime forums  :rolleyes:

also think The Big O is a rofl, but it's good for noobs I guess.

/e also don't think to highly of Claymore but thats only because I was reading the manga for a long time, I guess as a stand alone anime it was decent..

at least I did not see K-ON or fate/stay night on the list this time


I only get charts from /a/, where everybody is anonymous so yes it's very important to look cool. I'm not sure why I am even posting here in the first place, there are only a few people here who know what they are talking about.

That's a good start. Only one on there I wouldn't advise to watch is Paranoia Agent. I couldn't stand watching that show. I'm sure others liked it though as why it would be on a list like that.

Also give Gallery Fake and Bartender a look. They both felt pretty similar to Mushishi imo. Very episodic, calm and thoughtful.

You'll have to be a bit on the pretentious side to fully appreciate them though. Man, that felt weird to say out loud.

can't go wrong w most of the stuff on there. i disliked the shit outta planetes + logh, but.. yeah. can't say that's a popular opinion.

for series similar to mushi-shi:
kino no tabi, rain town, tsumiki no ie, maybe kamichu!
natsume yuujinchou, xXx holic

iblard jikan for more mellow relaxation - although it's not really animated so much as it's a slideshow

Thank you for the list and insight, you guys are giving me a lot to look at, i've been looking at some of it and seeing if it's on netflix. it's much easier when it's there. i can stream it to my tv instead of using my computer. i'll have to download the other ones somewhere else i guess.

i like watching them one at a time till im finished with it. so for now the convinient choice would be something on netflix

i see that xxxholic is on netflix, so im thinking i'll check that out after i watch the last of mushishi
