I really appreciate all the help, but I don't understand why everyone seems to be ignoring the point of this thread...

I made it because I KNOW there are better shows than Death Note, I said everyone I talk to about anime thinks it's the best, so I want a list of everything you guys consider to be better so I can watch these with them and we'll have more shows to talk about.

Shoujo anime is #1, but in all seriousness I think even something like Steins;Gate is better than DN.

and why is FLCL on that list...
FLCL real terror imo.

I loved FLCL more and more the first 6 times I watched it.

I wouldn't say Deathnote is the best, the only reason people are saying it's the best because it's already finish. You were probably talking to anime hipsters.
