I watched the first part/season of Code Geass (which is like 25 episodes) and didnt get into it that much. The general feel in the Anime is far from the one in Death Note. DN is way darker and the plot is much more brilliant (opinion ofc...)

I watched this and didnt get into it either. I still preferred this over Code Geass though. The general feel might be closer to the one in Death Note but I think its too slow paced. Nice story, but should have been cut from 74 episodes to like 50 if you ask me.
Overall, I never found something like Death Note. Tons of good anime out there, but none like this one
