maybe so still, my active search for hilariously bad anime has made it clear to me that the pile of shit is staggeringly big. much bigger than many people would like to acknowledge.
it's just hard to see much of it since all bad shows throughout the years have been quickly forgotten and never gets any later attention.

rofl.. i was into drawing anime characters when i was 10 years old. They looked just like you would see in a typical anime cartoon and I don't even know how to draw, I'm not artistic at all.
It simply takes very little to no artistic ability to draw anime. It's a very simplistic artform. I can understand why so many people like it though... people relate to it because everyone has the ability to draw it.
