One Piece's quality isn't constantly diminishing though. Generally you either hate OP from the start and refuses to give it any second chance or you like it more and more as the story unfolds.

Well, the extremely few chapters that are released every year can't bother you too much And no, it's not worse than the all the WSJ series..
At this point people probably only reads it for the superb artwork and not much else anyway since the plot development borders on being nonexistant.
