And more info on scavenge hunt plz

how about an anime music or AMV contest following the Eurovision format? I took part in a similar contest with just regular music in another forum and it worked out great, so this should too.

Basically, you give a week or two for people to sign up. Once the deadline is hit, you PM all the users that signed up, and you ask them to post (in whatever thread is being used), an anime song, AMV or whatever the contest is about.
Once everybody has posted, the people that are taking part in the contest would have to rate the music/amvs/whatever posted (except their own ofcourse), using the Eurovision scale:

12 points for the first
10 points for the second
8 ...

3
2
1 for the tenth
0 points for the rest

They'd have to PM you the results (so they can't see who's winning obv), and then you'd have to add up the points and we'd have a winner.

Scavenge hunt would most likely have a community ruleset.

I have never really done/organized one before. So it would be new for me. We could get input from the forum though, much like this thread.

Scavenger Hunt sounds interesting.

The sig/tag thing would only work with enough people. Maybe "secret santa" type sig exchanges might be better, everyone gets something in the end kind of thing... (I know you helped me with the one I did a while back).

anything non-ultra effort to do.
SS/scavenger's got the greatest accessibility imo. then tagging. fuck amvs with a rake. creative writing's.. meh. top tier effort, low tier enjoyability.
