the plasma is 2.5 inches thick and weighs about 90 pounds in the box... its not bad better color quality (imo) than a led... my 60" is more for a theater set up because of the darks and darker and the lights a lighter... they have better color distinguishing and a better refresh rate... i prefer plasma over led for movie viewing and gaming....

they get hot quick and the faster refresh rate is so small it is vary hard to notice, I only picked up on it while watching things like sports.. ( baseball mostly ) I did the whole side by side at best buy for about a hour.
they can also burn images but the chances as slim to none, you would have to leave a static screen up for days to cause it..

to each his own tho, I'm not going to bash plasma just because I have a led.. they have better color and smoother transitions I just got my led because I like to save money and honestly the deal I got on black Friday was CRAZY ( but hardly worth the trouble )

/e should also add that if you are putting it in a room with a lot of windows plasma tvs glare way worse then led/lcd simply because its a glass screen which reflect way more light.
