sucks even more when it's been closed by the feds

Wonder when the feds are going to shut down Youtube...

I mean, there are just as many Copyright violations found there...

Things aren't that bad yet but if SOPA would have passed they would probably have been able to.
As for now only the websites who pay people to upload files for them are being closed down without warning.

Still, we're gonna be in for a rough ride these upcoming years D:

I wouldn't have a problem with it if streaming didn't eat up so much bandwidth :P you just watch.. soon ISP's will be lowering their download caps and making people pay more for extra gigs. They will take the 'average' of what most people download in a month and make that the cap. Anyone who happens to download more then average will be screwed. This just happened with my ISP.. All be it my ISP is trash but none the less I have no doubt other companies will be rolling out with roughly the same idea. They will make a fortune

I am not sure if 10bit has any change in streaming but for downloads.. the site I use re-encodes files that are in the 400mb range and takes them down to a 230mb range for 720. With little to no loss in quality. Some sites sacrifice some quality for files under 100mb at 720 and under 60mb for 480. Those sites though.. the quality looks more like a stream. Only difference is that you get to keep the episodes :P
When I was streaming the lower quality streams were at least 150mb a piece and they were pixelated to shit. Even the lowest quality 360p was around 100mb. So yeah.. there is a monstrous advantage to downloading then streaming when it comes to saving bandwidth. I am personally able to watch everything that is airing in good to excellent quality where as before while streaming I couldn't watch everything and the quality was rather poor. If you have some sort of program to tell you how much you are downloading in a specific amount of time.. or if you just use the windows task manager under networking you can keep track of how much data you are using. Start a stream from CR and keep track of the amount of data you use when the stream is finished. I'd be curious to know if their streams have any compression compared to the free streaming sites. If 720 is under 200mb.. I'll stop downloading and get a CR acc asap :P It will at least give me more incentive to go out and buy the anime that I like after it is done airing

Just the anime is cheaper then that $6.95/month As low as $4.99/month when you get 12 months. Tho if they added more I'd pay $12+ .

Doesn't even look like they have much of a selection there? Only 12 pages? with 20 anime on each page...?

am i missing something?
