Almost all my friends are like this, why don't people ever want to try something 'new'?

Maybe it was just because I grew up on anime, I watched bunch of old anime when I was little, believe it or not, my dad got me into anime, he still watches it to this day.

Some people are closed minded. Sucks for them really...

I watched anime as a kid, then stopped it when I was like 12. Years later I made some otaku friends and I tried some of the stuff they recommended, and I enjoyed it.

I'm still not someone you'd say is "into anime", but I do watch stuff from time to time, and I can always enjoy good stuff.
