Personally, I thought they were both below average.

Paprika was like being on LSD+inception, and didn't make much sense no matter what perspective you look at it from...

I was expecting MUCH more from Akira, and some elements of the movie didn't make sense or have a place, IMO. I'm willing to bet that the Akira manga is significantly better.

lol'd
ur acting like this is ur iso thread...

calm down, guy.

check out sword of the stranger if u havent already.

also:

blackjack
ninja scroll
cowboy bebop

i know those last three are series aswell, but still worth a watch imo.

Uh oh, animu connoisseur up in hurrrr, clear outta the way or the weaboo will eat you.

Regardless,

Akira was awesome
Princess Mononoke
Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind
A Place Promised in Our Early Days
Blue Submarine # 6
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie - Series was mentioned, but the movie was just as fun.

Damnit, there's honestly a shitload of good movies out there, I just draw a blank when I try thinking of them....Akira is a classic though...of course if you're a super picky neckbeard like some kids then of course you're gonna tear it apart, but as a movie at the time it was made...it's absolute gold, and it still stands the test of time.

There has been like 1 movie released every year. So far I have enjoyed them all but some of them are better than others.

If you liked Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle then you'll love Mononoke and Nausicaa as well.
