Dunno Speed racer, so can't say much about its influence

Totally agree with Goku #1. He's the epitome of anime characters. Goku is still unsurpassed as far as battle characters are concerned.

Pikachu has definitely been bigger and more influential than naruto has. I Seriously expected pikachu at #2 or 3

I'm not a huge anime watcher (DBZ, Bleach, and Naruto is about it) but I still think Goku should be #1 anyway given what DBZ was and what it did for anime. Goku is the epitome of awesome, but I dunno why Vegeta is on the list. If you're gonna put anyone else from DBZ there it should be Gohan or Piccolo. Also, switch Naruto and Ichigo, imo. Believe it!
