Highschool of the Dead Act 25!!!
Wow, 60 pages... Once again, due to a lack of raws, the chapter was scanned completely by us.
And what a chapter... But let me take this space to fill you in on some updates regarding the series.
- Highschool of the Dead is going on a short hiatus for two months after this. Chapter 26 will be available in the August issue of Dragon Age, on sale July 9th.
- For the next couple months, Triage X is supposed to be running in HotD's place, which means that volume 2 of Triage X will most likely come out around July or August, as we predicted before.
- We have no idea what the status of HotD is after the August issue, so don't bother asking. Chances are that it'll become monthly until it ends (or the writer craps out again), which would cause Triage X to go on indefinite hiatus, or it'll become bimonthly, alternating months with Triage X. It could even be something else, like HotD gets 6 chapters in a row, then Triage X gets 6 chapters in a row... Really, though, we have no idea. These are just guesses.
- Volume 6 of HotD also comes out July 9th. We'll probably be doing the same HQ treatment we gave to the previous volumes.
- A spin-off manga of HotD is also starting next month, and it's going to be written by Hiroshi Tamaru (this is the guy the character Hiro Tamaru was based on, similarly to how Kohta Hirano is based on the real-life Kouta Hirano). We're expecting it to be comedy like his past works, but we won't have any idea what it's like until next month. We may end up translating it, but we'll decide that once we actually get a look.
- The anime is also starting in July! Just to make it perfectly clear, it is a TV series, not an OVA or movie. You can view the official trailer HERE.
- The voice actors for the anime series are supposed to be revealed in next month's Dragon Age.
