hay melteh, It's working (playback) like I talked to you in irc abt, but I can't take screenshots inside MPC anymore, using the mpc that came with the CCCP pack. my old mpc works fine for saving images (albeit, it doesnt have the save thumbnails command).

Whenever I try, it errors as "GetCurrentImage failed, hr = 8000ffff".
Under options-> output, it's using the overlay mixer opt, which says saving images won't work with it. s'alright, I tried all the other renderers, and it still fails to save - regular images, as well as the thumbnail output.

how to fix~ :3

Can you SS me your settings for MPC? I seem to be able to take SS's fine when I change it from Overlay Mixer to VMR7 Renderless. You're doing "File > Save Image" right?

Also, have you tried other files? It could be that MPC doesn't like that file for some odd reason.

yah, have tried multiple files, mkv, avi, ogm. same error occurs for me.

Actually, I think my desktop does the same. I'll take a look when I get back home. I was testing it on my laptop.

Hmm, I've just tested it with MPC and I couldn't get that error. I googled it and results showed that you need DirectX 9.0b at least, so try getting that. I think you can get it at http://www.windowsupdate.com when you update your computer, althought it should come with your video card driver CD.

eh.. they pretty much brushed me off with 'just use haali's renderer'...
after i had explained that all renderers, including haali's resulted in that error -.-

Just fire a PM to TheFluff. He's a nice guy and will help you. Have you tried updating your computer at http://www.windowsupdate.com ? [Note: You need to use IE for that]
I usually pick "Custom" and then I update everything since "Express" will only get you the "Important" ones.
