have seen, definitely underrated. I did enjoy it, I hate that things get cancelled.. I recently started going after older unfinished anime in manga form just to get the endings lol

GTO? Think it was still only back door accessible at the time to be called main stream here

one of my favorites. loved it. I kinda sorta consider it mainstream, idk how I got it but I had watched it on dvd a long time ago.

You've a few to start a decent binge. I'll keep browing my watched lists and others, to see I can find more that fits your ideal anime.

Why do these anime still seem not that old.

Similar to NES and Sega Master System

Lol I remember that. Vaguely. I know it came out sometime in the 90s right? I had watched that on well, you already know. Was already 'old' at that point too.

First game for game boy outside of Tetris, was Fist of the North Star, had no idea it was an anime until later years. 😂

Stauf yeah, Fist of the north Star was a big Hit here in france.. I mean especially the Anime when it Aired out. Something that all the Youngsters who are 15~20 years now can't Remember of of course B)

And yeah "Slam Dunk" came after.. In the middle of the 90's or something. But still can be considered pretty old yeah.

As for the first game hokuto no ken. I think it was a game called "Black Belt" at that time in the Master System Aired in 1985 or 1986. I don't quite Remember but the only thing I do is it wasn't even called Fist of the north Star at that time early on. As it is Very old Stuff indeed.

March comes in like a Lion was actually pretty decent for that type of anime. Even though it was kind of slow for my taste. I tried Mushishi, but stopped half way realizing it was the 2nd season. I don't think CR put out the 1st yet

I liked the dynamic between a lot of the characters. Especially between MC and his adoptive family.
Yeah, I don't know what the deal was with that. I just ended up buying it when I noticed I couldn't find season 1.

thanks for those. I know a lot of people like march comes in like a lion, but like Stauf said it was just slightly slow for my taste at the time.. as well as mushishi. my taste changes though depending on my life events and whatnot etc.. Terror in resonance was actually a good not well known gem that I loved, wish there was more of it. havnt heard of B the beginning, seems interesting, might look into it. Working and Arakara are similar in the slice of life and comedy types which unless are phenomenal, I tend to avoid, not because they are bad, just a taste thing. I know im probably missing out on some great slice of life/comedy ones.. which when i do find, I watch with my wife, because she usually is able to get into those types better than me.
