Im new to the anime world and wanna watch something but dont know where to start

Demon Slayer?

Deponds on what you like or think is cool, like fighting? Story based? Gods vs man? Option are endless I personally would recommend death note,DBZ(super long but really good) record or rangarok (spelled that wrong) deamon slayer, Baki. Sword art online (kinda love story) food wars (I think that's the name) yeah you have alot to pick from kinda deponds what you're more into.

Record of Ragnarok was great too!

(Psst; not many people agree with me, but I thought Gintima was great)

Really depends on you personally, as stated before by others.

Action/Magical could be something like; Dragon Ball up to DBZ Super, Bleach, Sword Art Online (genre also Game), Wise Grandman's Son (something to that title, the genre also Reincarnation/Isekai I think), Log Horizon (genre also Game), Overlord series (genre also Game).

Maybe Reincarnation types like Reincarnated as a Slime, So I got reincarnated as a Spider (think this is the title), there are others like The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World (new), The Eminence in Shadow; Shadow Garden (new), Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and so on.

There are are more of course.

EDIT: I believe they all fit into the Fantasy genre as well.
