I watched H2O: footprints in the sand, it was pretty good, made me feel sad/joyful in the end... I want something like that

I tried angel beats but it was hard to get through the first 3-4 episodes and I haven't finished it yet, should I keep trying?

I also heard clannad was really good, but the artwork for season 1 is a bit of a turn-off for me.

the emotional parts are where you learn about their memories before they died.
other than that, it's mostly action, a lot of comedy, along with a good story.



if you want to continue it, go ahead. don't force yourself to watch something if you don't get hooked to it. it would be more enjoyable if you watch it if/when you decide you want to.
i personally liked it and would watch it again.

if you dont like the artwork for clannad, then dont watch it. i know the feeling where it can ruin the show

Angel Beats was pretty good, but idk if I would call it tear worthy.

Clannad will make you cry, it will. The second season is the only show to make me bawl like a 5 year old little girl. All of Key's shows for the most part are really good at pulling at the feels.
Kanon(2006), and Air were both good as well.

Last episode of Gungrave also made me produce manly tears. Same with the lest episode of Elfen Lied

Kokoro Connect was a good show, definitely pulls on the feels.

Might also try True Tears
