ive watched many anime and I personally think one piece is down right horrible

I heard if you dont like the crocodile arc not to even continue.. is this true?
I thought the crocodile arc (forget the name its been like 2 months) was really poor. (possibly one of the worst up to that point)
I dont see how this is taking the #1 spot.. or even top 5 let alone top 20 on practically every sight.. what am I missing?

heres my problem
the story is NOT good so far.. its very bland and progresses almost no where. Its like each episode is drug out 25 minutes longer than it should be.
The characters are boring... the most interesting characters are in shanks crew and even they arent that interesting
the main characters are designed to attract 3 year old girls why are there so many men (~18&up) watching this like its going out of style?

Well if you have nothing good to say about it by that point then no point in continuing it.

I usually tell people if they don't like it by the end of the crocodile arc, then don't continue.

You can't expect everyone to like the same stuff. Just because it is popular doesn't mean EVERYONE likes it.

I'd suggest moving on.

I suggest to at least watching some of the cool fights from later in the series since they are pretty awesome (even without seeing the series)

Well the beginning is very boring.. even when they are in the sky its very freaking boriiiing and arcs are very long for nothing
BUT after that, the CP9 arc is what made me hook to it. If you didn't like crocodile's arc, you should probably stop but trust me.. around episode 250-300 when they finally meet a marine admiral, it's gonna be very interesting.

Only good part in the show is the arc where they try to.rescue luffys bro other tham that everything else sucks
