why do most people hide that they are watching animes ?
i am sure that a lot of the people i know are into animes but they never ever talk about it and if they do they are embarrassed
even thoose obv ones with coloured stylish hair won't admit it
i am from germany and in Senior High School

it's because the society they're in does not acknowledge cartoons for a mature audience

i expect this will change with time, thanks in particular to the pokemon generation who are quite large in number and probably still watch anime

another thing i took notice of is that people who watch animes have alot more common sense about what is right and what is wrong

Huh? How did find a connection between anime and common sense? And what's Senior Highschool, the Gymnasium?

Well in High School it often happens that insecure people are secretive about liking stuff the majority of people don't like because they fear they'll get rejected. Once in college you get to meet so many more people with all kinds of tastes and people are much more open about these things. Not anime related, but a satirical example of what I mean:

i was the only one watching anime at first, since i started watching anime at a very young age and it fascinated me that's why i love anime this much.

it probably started with Dbz,digimon,pokemon etc, once i grew older i wanted more, anime's with better quality which usually aren't available in my country.
And this is how im here now, watching every new season

anyways about my class, i was the only one watching anime.
i was like DUDE WTF YOU REALLY DONT KNOW DEATH NOTE? YOURE MISSING SOMETHING HUGE IN YOUR LIFE.
my friend watched it and was like OMG DUDE WTFF IS THIS EPIC **** ?!?!?!?!? THIS IS ANIME?! OMG I NEVER KNEW! THIS IS SO GOOD

afterwards like 30-40% of the people in my class watched '' death note '' and continued watching other animes.
i'm happy that they were able to get into the world of anime since it is ART!

About your case, it's true there that in high-school most people are scared of being a loner, they rather go with the wave and usually do things they don't even like.
currently it is '' Hipster,yolo,swag,instash*t,hashtags '' everyone is tryna act cool and such, even though they're just randoms.

I wonder why they even make those '' flesh tunnels/plug '' which are extremely ugly.. like srsly derp

I'm too good looking. Only few of my friends know I watch, but only sometimes. I'm afraid of letting my friends touch my ipod or phone because of its contents.

LMAO, Oh how this reminds me of when a high school wanted to trade for my shiny pokemon and didn't bring his trade cable, so he was desperate enough to run to the store to buy a new one just to trade~
