alright is it just not illegal in japan or are we ok with the production of child porn now? incase you are unaware it is illegal to create, distribute and view images (such as those drawn) of underage persons in sexual situations.

So I am netflixing some anime and I had to stop because of this. the last two series I clicked on contained 15 y/o or younger in some form of nudity. I simply closed the first one and went to a new show, when it did the same thing with a new character. this leads me to believe it is a common theme (which is believeable given how japan is a bunch of perv weirdos) so I am no longer interested in this anime genre.

So I guess why I am posting here now is what is the opinion of you guys on this. seeing how you are not aganist watching anime.

There are a lot of different type of anime. As long as you do a little research on a website like myanimelist you can avoid the crap anime.

the only difference with Animes which show a lot of that content is you can't really call it child Porn.
Sure you might get the bad feeling that its wrong but if you think about it, you can't touch anime or stalk it or kidnap it or lure it into a van with promises of candy and puppies XD simply because there fictional art.

That's like saying that a Painting in some museum with a Female Nude and spread out is Porn, but i bet if you said that to some kind of Art fanatic he would probably take of his Silk gloves and slap you in the face with it XD
