would Gantz fit into that category.
But anime is cut short so you would have to read the manga which in turn is alot better but i still enjoyed the Anime also.

if you read manga this would be way easier because there are a million good mangas like that but not many animes, because anime fanboys are all immature

ya i saw darker than black, was good

and i'll give black lagoon another try, i saw the first 6 ep, wasn't really into it

Maybe not mystery but if you read manga , try Holyland. Firsts chapters are bored but after some it become awesome.

Um..... monster is a very unique story. Haven't seen any that's the same yet. They may have the same genres, but the feel is very very different. =(
