Okay, so it goes like this:

2x Hokages (one of which = Shodaime) vs. Sarutobi and Sarutobi pulls the win.

Yet the newly summoned Uchiha Madara = GFG.
So how does the new power structure go?

Sarutobi > Shodaime > Madara > Profit??

If Shodaime could defeat Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan + Fox, then how does Sarutobi even have the slightest chance of defeating him? When they are summoned through Edo Tensei, they are arguably just as powerful (whether their minds are taken over or not doesn't make a difference since they can't control anything but their mouths, anyways).

Or is this a classic case of anime power build up -- in other words, they have to keep topping the past to the point where it doesn't really make sense from a continuity standpoint.

I don't' go to anime forums ever, so I didn't know I HAD to post in the Naruto thread. Plus, Naruto manga discussion seemed limited to the latest manga events, and my topic requires some examination over the entire series of events in Naruto.
