Cool guy, great actor, had some absolute bangers, cult classics, but he hasn’t been the lead role in a good movie in a long time. He’s sort of been done

What does 'retire' mean in this vocation? I've never understood when musicians and actors etc say this. Its not like you're employed and you need to file paper work.

Just don't take another role, simple. This just seems like someone wanting attention.

They always end up doing things years after when they say this. Why not just say 'I'm on hiatus'.

I think in the interview he said a couple times "he's taking a break" along with that he's retiring along with that he would/might come back for a special role etc etc. So he kind of did say all the above, but the news headlines will get the most clicks with the most dramatic headline

I think it's nice to know we won't be expecting any more movies from him. Also, the recruiters will stop spamming his mail with requests for movie roles (or however that system works).



Liar was alright, but I liked Mask and Ace Ventura way better. He was amazing in those and fit the role perfectly.
