Anyone else watch this? I didn't have high hopes but was surprised it was better than I expected.

There was one episode that was terrible where she was dreaming or hallucinating the entire episode but the rest I really enjoyed.

It's set during slave times and focuses on one slave girls life after she runs away and is hunted by a slave catcher

Watched some of this, don't give off too much, but it is easy to read, also, it is based on Racialism during a certain Era in American History with a twist. That is all I can say without spoiling it.

Depends on your preference... I am not from USA, don't know the Racial history or the slaves being transported from Africa for slaves in the cotton fields to appreciate it... but I have watched it, *knew what was coming, and from an OUTSIDER of American history, it is NOT hard for them to read it as well.
