Alita received worse reviews from critics, but better reviews from fans. You may need to take that with a grain of salt, as Captain Marvel's reviews were bombed by overly sensitive people who never even saw it.

I've heard mostly positive things about Alita, while Captain Marvel appears to be yet another Marvel movie. If you've enjoyed most of what Marvel has done in the past 8 years, you'll like captain Marvel. If like me, you're bored of seeing the same thing over and over, go see Alita.
