Storyline
On the same day in October 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. But not everything went according to plan. In their teenage years, the family fractured and the team disbanded. Now, the six surviving thirty-something members reunite upon the news of Hargreeves' passing. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Vanya and Number Five work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father's death. But the estranged family once again begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.

Just started this, Im very intrigued. Ive heard good things, Ill let it ride. So far I like it

I've heard a lot of good things from various people that I trust. Got a couple of other things ahead of this, but I want to get into this sometime by late next week.

Watched 3 episodes so far, this show is crazy. I love it.

Wow Luther is such a cunt. Honestly fuck that guy.

On episode 4 now, it is definitely different. Kind of a little mix of heroes and 24 combined with powers and racing against a deadline/clock.

So just finished it. That was intense. Better get a season 2.

That ending though, I yelled at my tv "No.... no, you better fucking not.... god damn it!"

Luther is the entire reason for everything. He just alienated Vanya the entire show. Even at the end he wanted to leave her. So frustrating. She just wanted a family. It's really quite sad.

Finished the show, not sure how I feel about it.

Cross between Heroes, Looper, and Watchmen ...

Significantly better writing and acting than Heroes and looper. Not sure how it's like Watchmen... Or looper... Or Heroes actually. Unless you mean on the very basic superficial top level of "omg time travel" and "omg powers".
