Billy Bob Thornton plays a disgraced alcoholic lawyer who takes on a wrongful death case at the behest of a grieving sister. The case is against a military contractor called Borns Tech, and they employ Thornton's old firm for legal counsel. Thornton is fucking brilliant as a drunk, we all know that, but add a brilliant script and supporting actors and fuck man, this show was great.

Both seasons so far have been a different case and they used almost all new characters for major roles, while moving the previous major actors to minor roles in the show. I liked the first season a lot more than the second, the second was more violent and fastpaced, while the first had more of an espionage thriller sense to it. Don't get me wrong, they're both great, and I'm sure some will like the pacing in season 2 a lot more than season 1, it REALLY picks up and gets fucked up, but I just enjoyed season 1 more.
