The Jack Ryan character was never really an ultra macho man anyway

He played a great role in the movie a Quiet Place and directed it,
Jon krasinski is a great Actor i have faith he will be one of the best Jack Ryans we seen

Sometimes it's not about how good of an actor you are. Sometimes you just don't look the part.
No matter how good the show might be I'll always be thinking about it being better with a different actor.

He has done well in everything he has been in. You just look at him like he is Jim because you have issues moving on from things, most people do now a days which is why people are so soft and bitch made.

Agreed. And this is arguably a good reason exactly why he SHOULD be starring in high profile non-Jim roles and why audiences should give them a chance.

People will get over it eventually. Took me 5 seasons of Archer to stop hearing the voice of the Family Guy store clerk whenever Sterling spoke. Would have been stupid of me to stop watching because of it.
