Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri

Sorry this is a day late, there was some communication issues happening.

I know this movie is rather new but I don't think many have watched it/talked about it. I recall the thread about the movie not having much attention. I know some people out there like to watch Oscar movies do here is another chance to discuss this one

I will try to update the schedule in the main thread by the end of the week with the new time table so everyone has a heads up of when they need to choose a movie.

Well I guess I start then.

Went twice to the theatre to see it and had some different experiences. First time around I thought it's a pretty dark and heartbreaking drama. Second time I went with a friend of mine and enjoyed the humor elements way more and laughed my ass off.
I realy like the characters, especially Mildred and Dixon, they were great and always a treat. McDormand just feels totally natural and is the perfect cast for this role. Sam Rockwell does a great transition from a retard to the hero of the movie, just feels right and is acted totally believeable. They realy deserved winning the Oscars for main femal actor and mal supporting actor.
Woody Harrelsen was alright. The weakest part of the movie is probably the girlfriend of Mildreds ex Husband. The writing went a bit over the top there.
Entertaining and enjoyable all the way through with a great mix of dark comedy and gripping drama. One of the best movies of 2017.

Martin McDonagh is a great writer (loved In Bruges) and I am realy excited for his future projects.
