*You can't use a franchise that another company owns the movie rights to. But I'll say that you are able to buy the IP of something that has never been made into a movie.
*If the movie makes money, you get 10% of the profits.
*You can't put yourself/friends/family on the payroll. You have to spend the whole budget on production costs through the channels that Sony normally deals with.
