Started watching the Hannibal tv series last night. First two episodes were pretty good but I'm not sure if they will be able to keep it up through all 4 seasons. Thoughts?

Show was shit, barely made it through season 1. Didn't bother with 2 or 3.

Gotcha, not that long of a show but I do like Mads Mikkelsen so I'll watch through it.

They definitely had some crazy shit happen in the first few episodes. Much more messed up shit than law and order.

worth watching for sure

I like Mads a lot and thought the first season was entertaining. I definitely got bored of it quickly after that and just read season synopses on Wiki to see what else important happened without having to watch the show.

Gotta say though, Mads' version of Lecter just didn't remind me at all of the movie Lecter. That was kind of annoying.

They really changed a lot of characters even from what I have seen in the first few episodes. Edward Norton's Will Graham was not in the least insane and Freddie Lounds was definitely not a hot chick in Red Dragon.

Show is great - ended when it should have too. They didn't milk it for every last drop

I really enjoyed it. I couldn't imagine anyone besides Hopkins as Hannibal, but Mads did a great job of making the character his.
