Episode 8 is schedule for release a year from now. Given the scale of the project, is it reasonable to assume that she has already filmed all or most of her scenes? Her health issues won't affect production?

If her health is bad enough that she can't do Ep9, maybe they just shift gears and kill Leia off in 8?
