Hasn't actually been released yet, so i don't trust the reviews which could be biased or PAID OFF.

Always see movies with high ratings until they actually get released wide spread then it drops.

I haven't been paying attention to rating in many years now...There loads of terrible films that 10/10 and some very good ones that are low rated. Think people rate good films bad mostly coz they get offended by them...Too many butthurt vaginas this days

i remember when i first started using imdb and a 7 was like a pretty damn good movie and 6 was okay.
no longer the case...every movie is at like a solid 8 or 7.7+
i enjoyed prisoners so im sure the movies good but movies about to be in theaters always are at a high rating

arrival had an early screening around June/July.
Some people on reddit said that it's a pretty decent movie.
It presumeably fallows the short story very strictly.
