first one is one of the best horror films i ever seen for sure i would imagine if something like this would happen thats how it would happen, rly good realistic atmosphere, no stupid monsters or even any gore just scary atmosphere rly good

new one looks way too commercial and hollywoody...gonna be total garbage imo just another sequel big fucking woooop =/

looks like the usual jump scare bullshit.

first one was great and a product of it's time.
they pushed the film with realy unique marketing and the product was amazing for the low budget they had.

this trailer just looks like: " hey let's milk a franchise with little to no effort to make some quick bucks".

First one looking back is silly but at the time it was terrifying. The first one basically spawned both found footage horror as well as viral marketing. There was a huge campaign around the first film that was trying to make it look real. News stations did stories about the history of the area and everything before the movie came out. Blair witch 1 wasn't just about the movie, it was an experience that encompassed many areas.

The marketing was so successful you went into the movie thinking it was real, hell even the actors were listed as missing in real life (if you tried to research them).

First one was ground breaking. That shit ruined me for a while

Only movie I fell asleep in a theatre in. Not joking.

And if you bought into the premise for realzies, then I don't know what to tell you...
