episode 1 of season 23 aired yesterday, and i was definitely not expecting matt leblanc as a host

i didn't... "hate"... it, i guess but i definitely miss may clarkson and hammond

It was never gonna be as good as with Clarkson, May and Hammond, but it was still a pretty good episode. Don't really understand how much stick it's got for being 'boring', I thought it was pretty fun. I'll be watching again next week, anyway.

that main dude whatever his name is though... he's a bit of a pansy, the writers are harping on how "this is top gear" way too much... i dont need to be told 15 times during an episode that i'm watching top gear, i know i'm watching top gear that's why i'm watching it.

plus i think everyone was expecting one of the reliant robins to roll over, it was disappointing when they just drove down the highway

Sucks ;< that guy is trying too hard to copy clarkson, with zero self personally...

And his voice is truly annoying.

Script Writing is meh, most of the host replies with a single word...

The Core of top gear is a bunch of old mates messing around and having a laugh. I don't feel, I've gotten that feel in this episode.

It just feels very fake and non-genuine...

compare it to clarksons reliant robin episode and that pretty much sums it up right?

Now Matt Le Blanc has issued an ultimatum that he will quit unless they remove Chris Evans from the show

Such a sad time really, was such a great show because of Clarkson, May and Hammond. It's over now imo bit of strange feeling considering it is the most watched show ever in the world
