They are immortal, only thing that can kill them was the white oak wood or whatever

They're said to be indestructible, so decapitation is out. While we haven't seen them use a blade, we can only assume it will stop once it meets bone. There is a scene in vampire diaries while they try to rip out an original's heart and their hand gets stuck.
