i remember watching a trailer where this guy hooks up with this girl. after, he can do superhuman things for a short time before he completely turns into some zombie thing/dies. they try to find the girl to reverse it or some shit.

it was recorded like chronicle/cloverfield style.

Sounds like contracted phase 2, but i don't remember the superhuman things and it wasn't in the found footage style of chronicle and cloverfield. I vaguely remember what you're talking about though. I'll check my old movies.
