Anyone excited for this?
I sure as hell am. I just finished watching S1-S4 for the second time (last time I saw it was way too many years ago) and it is still hands down the best series I've ever watched.

I hope they do a better job reviving this series, first season of prison break was the best tv program I'd watched in the past 10 years. but season 2-4 is just garbage

Season 1, fucking phenomenal. After that, just ehh. Some of it was barely watchable during 2-4.

How the hell can they do another season? How many prisons can they escape from my God. And didn't the main character die at the end of season 4?

I wouldn't really say garbage but I agree that it was a little bit stupid how they did it.
Nothing will be better than S1 (as with almost every series) simply because that is where the core of the whole series was in if that makes sense. After they broke out of Fox River the director had to come up with more and more ideas.

Anyways I'm still hyped as fuck.

It's not just about that
The fans also want to see the Michael & Sara have their freedom together along with their child and all of the other main characters
We never really got to see that, also along with a whole new plot (in 10 episode that is of course)

this. It should've ended after season 2.

S5 is just gonna be a mess. Micheal should stay dead.

They should've just make a spin off with the fugitives before they went to prison. Like they did with Breaking bad/Better call saul

Season 4 was terrible, so almost anything would be an improvement. Not holding my breath though.
