Well shit. Initial ratings are in and it looks to be a complete bomb.

I had incredibly low expectations for this movie already, so maybe it'll actually be watchable now with this bringing the bar down even lower. The casting was horrible, the second trailer gave away almost the entire plot and made it look just absolutely dreadful lol.

Just sucks, I like Afleck and I wanted this to go well for him, always knew it wouldn't but oh well. It'll still probably make a ton of money at least, so I doubt it'll end up mattering all that much in the long run. DC just doesn't have a fucking clue what they're doing. They need to stick to the actual gritty/dark movies, the Nolan movies worked, V worked, and The Watchman worked. Unfortunately, the best they've managed to muster besides those movies has been incredibly mediocre products with most of them falling even short of that.

Hopefully this will be an eyeopener for them, I'm guessing the Justice League is going to be just as bad if they don't start seriously reconsidering their direction right this second.

Zack Snyder literally puts my expectations at zero.

Just take a look at any single film he has directed/produced/wrote.. all garbage.

Were you dropped on your head? 300 and Watchmen are legit. And from what I remember Dawn of The Dead was great too. Haven't seen that in a really long time don't remember it to well off the top of my head.

300 is absolutely abhorrent..

Watchmen might be a smidgen better (by a -tiny- amount), but you can't even compare it to its source material. Hell, the author of the Watchmen practically denies the existence of the movie..

They should have given Afleck his own Batman movie before this was made.

Even a 2nd Man of Steel should have been considered.

Some kind of build-up to this movie at least.
