No major plot spoilers but some content of the film will be discussed as it pertains to what children should or should not see.

I saw in the theater there were quite a few children. One couple brought their 3 kids all somewhere in the age range of 5-10 years old. In this movie, there is full frontal male(woohoo Reynolds's possibly CG'd cock) and female nudity, Ryan Reynolds gets pegged with a strap on, (if you don't know what pegging is either infer from context or don't google it from work), other sexual content, and cursing which is the least of it. The real harm I believe would be the gore and violence. I'm not shocked by kids being there.

Is this irresponsible parenting? How do you not look up what you're getting into before bringing small children to see this movie? It's interesting that many people may have no idea just how raunchy it is because it is Marvel IP. Your thoughts? I'd really like to hear from parents on this as I have no kids of my own.

I didn't see the movie but 5-10 to a rated R is pretty bad. Not a parent but use to go to theater all the time with my Mom and brother when we were young. I can see 12-13+ because it is a comic book movie. Parents don't think it will be that bad, but they will come out regretting it. Of course, there are some parents that just don't care and let their kids see anything.

Parents should definitely not take kids to this movie.

You know, I want to see a pg-13 deadpool where he's aware of the censor bars and such and constantly pokes at it. That would be hilarious. Also, kind of sad.
(there is a petition floating around because an 8 year old is upset he can't see a rated r movie)

Also want an NC-17 deadpool where everything goes.

It is bad parenting if the parents are ignorant of the subject matter and then have the nerve to act like they were slighted. (I'm seeing a lot of reports of concerned parents that weren't aware of the subject matter and are up in arms about it)
It's bad parenting for anyone not a teenager seeing the movie. I can understand teenagers wanting to see it, they're already subjected to the same things. But preteens and younger children seeing it? those parents need to be slapped.

I find myself mad at the parents I saw bringing little kids to the movie. I'm conflicted that maybe it's none of my business and not my place to tell someone how to raise their kid.

Only time I care about kids at the theatre is when they're being obnoxious little shits and the parents won't do anything. I'll speak up and embarrass the fuck out the parents for it too.
Part of the reason I'm going sunday at midnight to see it is to avoid things like that.
