Haven't looked forward to a terrestrial tv show for like a decade so this should be interesting.
Personally I already like Scully and Mulder, so the really don't have to do that much probably.

The first 1/2 of the 2 part season premiere is tonight on fox at 10pm and then it goes to its regular time tomorrow at 8pm on Fox.

They kept the original intro, nice.

Watched it, was like all commercials it seems - kinda ruins the point, Other than that it was pretty intense, maybe a little to truthy - you gotta spice up your conspiracies with a little crazy so people don't freak out if you know what i mean.

I thought the acting was pretty weak and unbelievable.

Sad because Gillian Anderson was great on Hannibal and I like David Duchovny on Californication.

I was a big fan of the original series. Watched it every week on Fox, etc.

They spent years building the mythology of aliens, human-hybrids, humans working with the aliens, etc.

I hope it gets better because it seems like they just want to write the original series off.

Aside from the alex jones wannabe, it was a solid episode that captured the same magic the previous seasons did.

Yeah saying the acting was poor is like criticizing Meryl Streep's last film for her lack of talent. I'm sure the subject matter will be hard for some to digest, but yeah thats like complaining about the new Star Wars because it wasn't realistic.
