Just got Netflix, no idea why, was free. As if I don't watch enough stuff, now I can watch even more.

Anyway.
Friends telling me I NEED to watch the new Daredevil and Jessica Jones, since I like Marvel. But I never got interested or even wanted to watch those.

Are those 2 going to last many seasons?
Do they even have anything to do with the Marvel movies?
Will they keep me interested to watch many back to back?

Avoid Jessica Jones (overrated and a piece of crap).

Daredevil is fantastic.

Daredevil's second season will premier in March.

They're both in the Marvel Universe (talks about what happened in the Avengers part 1).

The plan is Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Ironfist and a Defenders mini series.

Daredevil reached such critical acclaim that it is going to get a second season. They're introducing the punisher with season 2, along with some other daredevil alums.
Jessica Jones reached critical acclaim, but there hasn't been any word of another season. They're working on Luke Cage's stand alone season right now and they said Krysten will be reprising her role there.
After daredevil's season, we'll eventually see luke cage, and perhaps another dare devil, maybe a jessica jones or they'll finally jump into ironfist.

Jessica jones isn't crap, it's actually quite good, David Tennant and Krysten Ritter nailed their roles. The noir style was implemented well. It was darker and grittier than daredevil. Majority of the hate comes from supposed alpha males that hate seeing female leads or super hereos. You may not like the style, but to call it crap is just downright hilarious.

Watch Daredevil first, be enthralled by the superb performances and excellent storytelling.

Then waste hour after hour of watching Jessica Jones hoping it takes a turn for the better and then be disappointed when you finish it.

Narcos is also quite good. Not superhero related but a new Netflix show.

im enjoying narcos, on ep 4 right now.

I disagree with the Jessica jones hate, I thought it was very well done and had great character development.

Narcos is good.

Daredevil is good.

Jessica Jones is not bad like everyone is saying, it gets a bit cheesy at parts, but not bad cheesy, and if you are a fan of Tennant then I think it is a must watch.

Marco Polo is fantastic, first episode is a bit slow(imo) but stick with it.

House of Cards season 1 is a must watch. Season 2 is great as well, season 3 didn't interest me as much.

Bojack horseman is hilarious, but if you don't like the first episode then you won't like the series.

Sense8 I enjoyed, but I know it has mixed reviews.

i dont read comics. i watched daredevil because i like the actor, vincent d'onofrio. in general i like villains who are cunning, manipulative, and ruthless but honourable and keep their promises. i found it interesting the main villain never lied to anyone (to my memory), whereas the protagonists all lied to each other. on the downside, i really disliked the last episode.

both pretty well done shows

narco's was pretty good
hemlock grove has hands down the best werewolf transformation i've seen
can't think of any other exclusives tbh Orange is the new black had its moments but not a must watch
/e one show about a girl who was locked in like a bunker for years and years then finally gets out to experience the world was pretty good it was like Unbalanced Kimmy or something ( im sure someone can correct me on that title )
