How is it that I can simultaneously feel hypetrain10/10 and want to puke?

Positives: The orc faces looked REALLY good in certain shots. The way the orc story was presented also has my expectations high.

Negatives: The scenery looks so incredibly childishly silly and fake that it makes me feel embarrassed to have ever played a Warcraft game. Garona looked AWFUL. Patton and Fimmel's attempts at line delivery made me roll my eyes.

It almost makes me wish we could just take the damn human kingdom out to the movie completely.

Looks like a videogame, gonna be hobbit-tier levels of dissapointment.

CGI is literally worse than Stalin.

I think I'll enjoy it.

It's just going to be a 2 hour WoW cinematic, and that's what a lot of people want so that's cool. I don't think I would ever bother watching it myself, even stuff like Guardians of the Galaxy felt just like a giant video game cinematic to me, but loads of other people still like it, so whatever.

slow down there man, I think you are giving it way too much credit. All of Blizzard's games include cinematics that are great works of art. To expect 2 hours of content on that level would be asking way too much.

Wait what? You want me to edit my post to say "90 minute WoW cinematic"? I'm just not sure what you're getting at, sorry.

I'm saying that I disagree with your characterization of this film as being comparable to a Blizzard cinematic. If the movie were that good, we'd all love it. That is what we all dreamt that the movie could be, but realized that it would be too expensive to make.

I think that we should look at some other recent CGI-heavy movies to find a more realistic comparison.

im sure the movie will be good but that trailer sucked. no cool lines...
