The premise is terrible. Superman is ignoring phantom zoners so his inexperienced cousin can save the day. Not to mention the feminist tones aren't winning any points.

Even funnier is feminists trying to prop Benoit up as a role model, you'd think CBS would've been a little more picky about their lead role with the controversy surrounding her.

The first episode even had her complaining about being called super girl. I mean really?
I wanted to like it, but bleh. Also, olsen is the complete opposite of his comic book counterpart.



Pretty much renewed my netflix subscription for that show alone, haha. I'll probably keep it renewed until the next season of daredevil airs and let it lapse. Waiting til the 20th sucks though.

Can't fault the premise or else you have to fault the premise of every single super hero show/comic.

Every single batman/flash/arrow etc villain - why doesn't superman handle it?

Every single ironman/captain America etc - why doesn't Thor handle it?

The answer is so we can have more than one character.

E: or if you want, because they are busy dealing with other issues/trust whatever person to deal with the issue they are dealing with.

Comparing apples to oranges. Thor is often off world, taking care of his own issues with his own realm, they even explain this. So not really relative here.
Now let's compare that to kryptonians and kryptonian prisoners and even a relative of superman. The premise that he doesn't know about or isn't involved in these problems is pushing it.
