Kevin Smith has apparently seen Star Wars The Force Awakens. He speaks about it on the latest episode of his podcast "Fat Man on Batman."
He never comes right out and says he has seen the movie, but it becomes clear that he has. Here are some quotes I picked out of the show.

I used to love smith but he's dead to me after Tusk, man what a trainwreck.

He agrees with you on how shitty his movies have gotten. Jokes about it all the time. I find that almost all artists lose steam over the years.

Just to add some legitimacy to my claims, here is a clip from 10 years ago that has Mark Hamill talking about an evil Luke Skywalker that he wanted to do and JJ Abrams is there. Look who else is there, Kevin Smith! You can find that part about 11 minutes into the video. Smith was also invited on set during production of the film so he is well connected enough to have seen the film.
