I just wanted to give a shout out to this sub and say thanks to everyone who finally talked me into watching this show. It had been on my list for awhile, and I'm glad that a few of the users with similar taste to my own talked me into bumping it to the top of my list.

Currently halfway through season 2 and I'm absolutely loving the show.

Quick question about the show though. Is there any tough seasons? Any that are just really hard to get through because they're boring, have a shit story, or bad acting? I'll watch the whole thing regardless, I just want to know in advance if there's a certain season I'm going to need to force my way through.

Please no spoilers.

I dunno what the consensus is but season 2 was the toughest for me on the first watch (loved every bit on a rewatch tho)

No, the pace is consistent. The show ends when they run out of good content rather than dragging along.

This is what I like to hear. Far too many shows don't have enough commonsense to end when they're on top.

Thanks for the input. Season 2 has been pretty meh, but even a meh season has been more enjoyable than 90% of shows I've seen lol.

Seasons 2 and 5 (for reasons I won't spoil) were weakest to me.

This seems to be a popular opinion for many fans, not to say they're bad. I appreciated these seasons much more second time through.

Best TV show out there, gratz on starting it.

I just can't come to grips with McNulty's plan in season 5.
