Have you seen Cloud Atlas? Was very impressed. Very rewarding

You watched the obvious SciFi?
Battlestar galactica (movies, tv show. Absolutely awesome, rate it 11/10 and want to have a head trauma to forget i watched it. So I can watch it again)
Stargates (movie is best, then SG:1)
Interstellar (my favorite of new stuff)

Cloud Atlas is actually my fav movie, and one of my fav books aswell

Watch the series. SG:1 is really good (maybe aside from late seasons). Atlantis is meh, Universe is meh meh.

There are also straight-to-dvd movies: SG: Ark of Truth and SG: Continuum, but they follow events of the tv shows. Don't remember watch order though, you'd need to check how far you need to watch tv series

BSG is imho better though. Also starts with a movie, so go for a movie now I was impressed of how well they draw the characters, how deep they build their interactions and how well they keep the mystery within the series.
