It's something I watched in the chinatown theater of Montreal about 17 years ago.

It's a chinese martial arts movie and the most memorable scene I can think of is when one of the chinese guys tries to deflect a bullet shot at him with his kick (he ends up kicking the bullet and basically just gets shot in the foot). It's hard to remember anymore. I'm not 100% sure if it was a war between americans and the chinese where the chinese had no guns, but it seemed to have been that. I was a lil young.

Need more information.

What type of clothes were they wearing? Chinese clothes or American 70s clothes?
Were they in America Chinatown or were they actually in China when the Europeans were in control?
Was it comedy type movie? Maybe it was something like "lucky 7" or another of the many Jackie Chan movies.
What type of rifle/hand-gun was it that the person was trying to kick the bullet?

Try things like Armor of God one and two, police story etc.

It was a serious movie set a few centuries ago. In china. Villager style chinese clothing for most people. I think the gun was the rifle that you have to recharge every time you shoot.
