I love long movies. Long movies have more of a chance to be better because there's more of an option for quality story and character development.
It was a great movie. It is a great story, they developed the characters very well and put you on he edge of the seat the entire time hoping he would kill the sniper. There were plenty of scenes that hit you hard emotionally.
I liked the back and forth scenes between home stayings and tours, it seemed real and it really showed how military can be detrimental to marriages.
My only criticism is that some of the dialogue between he and his wife seemed poorly executed.
How was the ending bad? He Finally completed the mission, he went home.
Definitely up there with black hawk down and the hurt locker for me (excluding band of brothers because it's too good

)
